Someone lied to Americans and said their country was infallible. While fortunately, this is a Lie we can correct, sadly--this country has you so afraid of being called an un-patriotic "hater" (treasonous person/terrorist). We'll debate what can be done to alter this system, as long as it doesn't involve revolt. We want to believe in a system--we want to work through the "system"--(and "system implies structure). We want to continuously believe in a system that has historically (and currently) fucked us over. I'm realizing more and more--we all discuss the bad, but we believe God will see us through. I cannot imagine any deity that would do for an invalid, complacent, and apathetic group of people, who only pray for "things" and won't fight for themselves. Actually, it reminds me of those fights as a child, when my mother would state ever so coldly: "If you bring your ass in here without at least trying to fight back, you can expect another ass whipping!" And you wonder why the suffering is so great?? 'Cause your God is whipping that ass too. Why??? Because you keep allowing yourself, and your children, to be fucked over. If we were truly honest about the ills committed in the name of America, we might be honored to be donned with the accusation of treason, even if it were only in our thoughts. I cannot support an atrocious system. That may very well make me a traitor...
